Marianne Heida

Welcome to my website!

I am a postdoctoral fellow at ESO, the European Southern Observatory, in Garching, Germany. I'm an observational astronomer, mostly working with optical and near-infrared data from observatories like the VLT in Chile and Palomar and Keck in the US. My main research interests are Galactic and extragalactic X-ray binaries.
